In 2018 I had the opportunity to take the Seahawks brand to a new place. Working with the Seattle Seahawks/First & Goal marketing team, we pushed the limits and brought a new fabric to the brand's ethos.
Inspired by Marshawn Lynch's Beast Quake, I dug deep into technical abstractions related to seismology and weather. Deep-rooted are the themes of energy and grit—while honoring the brand's core pillars of Gameday, football, and community.
The format was a design system including hundreds of sourced graphical assets, color, typography, composition techniques, and more. The results was a successful push forward, taking the brand to a new level. Since then, the design system has become a biannual brand refresh.
